Offboard
This workflow assumes that you have already ingested Employee data with the Onboard use case.
Your user marks an employee as terminated, sets an end date (ie pending termination), or marks the employee as longer with their company in their HR system.
Merge syncs data from the third-party system, and that specific Employees’s employment_status
field is marked as INACTIVE
or, if there is no clear mapping, the original value is passed through, and their termination date is set.
Based on the polling system you set up in Onboard Employees, on your next sync, that specific Employees record will be marked as INACTIVE
.
Your internal business logic should dictate that the Employee is removed from the platform, and any associated provisioning is adjusted as well.
