# Google Ads

**Authentication:** OAuth. See [Magic Link](/merge-agent-handler/features/magic-link) for the runtime auth flow, or [Application credentials](/merge-agent-handler/admin-setup/add-oauth-credentials) to bring your own OAuth app.

## Sample use cases

* Run a GAQL report on campaign spend and conversions for the last 30 days.
* Pause every ad group whose cost per conversion exceeds \$150.
* Add negative keywords to the `Brand` campaign based on last week's search terms report.

## Available Tools

#### list_ad_groups

List ad groups for a customer with optional filtering by campaign and status

#### get_ad_group

Get details of a specific ad group

#### create_ad_group

Create a new ad group within a campaign

#### update_ad_group

Update an ad group. Set status=REMOVED to delete

#### list_ads

List ads for a customer with optional filtering by ad group and status

#### get_ad

List keywords (ad group criteria) for a customer with optional filtering by ad group and status

Create one or more keywords in an ad group

#### update_keyword

Update a keyword. Use list_keywords to find criterion_id

#### remove_keyword

Permanently remove a keyword from an ad group

Run a custom GAQL (Google Ads Query Language) query to retrieve arbitrary resource data and metrics
