# VisualPing

**Authentication:** email and password. See [Magic Link](/merge-agent-handler/features/magic-link) for the runtime auth flow.

## Sample use cases

* Watch the competitor pricing page and notify me when it changes.
* Find checks that have triggered alerts in the last 24 hours.
* List active checks I own and their last-checked timestamp.

## Available Tools

#### create\_job

Create a VisualPing monitoring job. Requires url, workspace\_id. Optional: description, interval, selectors, labels. Use list\_workspaces to find workspace\_id.

#### get\_job

Get a monitoring job by ID. Returns job details including url, status, interval, selectors, and last check results.

#### list\_jobs

List monitoring jobs with optional filters. Supports pagination via page\_token. Filter by workspace\_id, status, or url pattern. Use list\_workspaces to find workspace\_id.

#### update\_job

Update a monitoring job. Can modify url, description, interval, selectors, labels, or active status.

#### delete\_job

Delete a monitoring job permanently. Cannot be undone. Use get\_job to verify job exists first.

#### get\_user\_profile

Get the authenticated user's profile including user\_id, email, name, and account details.

#### list\_workspaces

List available workspaces. Use to find workspace\_id required for creating jobs. Returns workspace names, IDs, and job counts.
